Blake Leitch

Blake is a VA Accredited Claims Agent who believes you don’t need a cinematic origin story to answer the call. After serving in the National Guard, he enlisted on active duty and was assigned to the Blackhorse (11th ACR) at Fort Irwin. He earned the rank of Sergeant and deployed to Iraq in 2005 as an infantryman.

In the desert, the "hurry up and wait" of stateside service vanished. Blake saw firsthand the diversity of the American soldier—men and women of every background entrusted with the highest stakes. He saw the ultimate sacrifice when his medic, a non-U.S. citizen, gave his life on the battlefield. Blake himself returned home with a Purple Heart after taking shrapnel to the face, a permanent reminder that the "blank check" he wrote to his country was nearly cashed.

That lived experience is the foundation of his company. Following a career as a Veteran Services Officer for the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, service within the Federal VA Administration, and a VA Law Firm Blake now uses his accreditation to advocate for veterans, surviving spouses, and families nationwide.
